Concerts 2010/11
- Saturday 27th November An enjoyable afternoon at St Martin-cum-Gregory, York, which is being developed as a stained glass centre. It's a fascinating old building with beautiful eighteenth century glasswork (of course), carvings and fittings. Because it's not normally open to the public, there was a steady stream of visitors looking round and sampling the crafts and refreshments. We sang three similar short sets of Christmas music and encouraged the audiences to join in with carols; perhaps that felt a bit wrong in November but the early snow somehow made it right.
- Saturday 26th March We launched our new Light and Shade set at Holy Trinity, Boar Lane, Leeds (programme). This delightful church was the perfect setting for music and poetry ranging from Bach through to the contemporary American Eric Whitacre.

- The venue and a sizeable audience inspired us to give what we were told was one of our best performances yet. The evening was tinged with sadness because it was our last concert with our founder Jane Edwardson; however she left on a high and can be proud of her work with us.
- Friday 20th May 2011 Another evening with the Harrogate Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild at St Wilfrid's, Harrogate. We introduced some of the Spanish Treasures – which sounded amazing there, if we do say so ourselves – before singing a few of the Light and Shade set. The concert also included barbershop, jazz and pianist Chris Ma all from St Peter's School and accordionist George Syrett.
- Sunday 17th July 2011 We’re developing a strong relationship with the growing audience at Ellerton Priory Church and this was our fourth concert there.

- We introduced a few more of our Spanish Treasures, looked back at the Light and Shade set, and had a few extra treats. More details in the programme.
