Cantabile is a chamber choir based in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. We're a small group of experienced and enthusiastic singers, dedicated to making a gorgeous sound and having fun.
We started out in September 2007 under the leadership of Jane Edwardson, an internationally-experienced choral director who's worked with a number of local groups and won awards from Sing for Pleasure.
Our first two years saw four concerts each, from sharing three carols with other local choirs to full-scale concerts such as the evening of French song culminating in Gabriel Fauré's Requiem. We're planning to surprise and delight you again in 2009/10 – have a look inside to find out more.
