Cantabile is a new and exciting chamber based in Leeds. We're a small group of experienced and enthusiastic singers, dedicated to making a gorgeous sound and having fun.
We started out in September 2007 under the leadership of Jane Edwardson, an internationally-experienced choral director who's worked with a number of local groups and won awards from Sing for Pleasure.
In our first year we gave four very well-received performances. So far this year we've joined other local choirs for Christmas and sung a stimulating programme of French music in Leeds and York; now we're planning to surprise and delight you by adding some of the best in English song.
